SOF Girl Child Scholarship Scheme: Eligibility, Application, Awards

SOF Girl Child Scholarship Scheme (G.C.S.S) is an initiative of the Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) to pursue equity for women. The scholarship will provide financial support for education with a focus on empowering girl students from grades 1 to 10.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply forSOF Girl Child Scholarship Scheme, you must meet the following criteria:

1. Gender and Class: You must be a female student currently enrolled in classes 1-10 of a recognized school or educational institution.
2. Past Examination Results: You must have a minimum of 60% or equivalent marks in the previous year (exceptions apply for physically disabled students).
3. Income Level: Only those with a monthly household income of ₹15,000 or less are eligible to apply.

SOF Girl Child Scholarship Scheme Awards

Selected applicants will receive:

• A one-time annual scholarship of ₹5,000 is provided to 300 deserving girl children across India.

Applicants need to submit the following documents:

• A signed copy of the previous year’s report card certified by the principal of the recommending school
• Scholarship Application Form signed by the vice principal and principal
