  • Classes 1 to 5: ₹600 per annum
  • Classes 6 to 8: ₹720 per annum
  • Classes 9 to 10 (Day scholars): ₹1,500 per annum
  • Classes 9 to 10 (Hostellers): ₹3,500 per annum

2. Pre-Matric Uttarakhand Scholarship for ST Students

Eligibility

Students from Classes 1 to 10 studying at a recognized school within the state, having passed their last qualifying examination. For Classes 9 and 10, the family income should not exceed ₹2,00,000. No income criteria for Classes 1 to 8.

Award

  • Classes 1 to 5: ₹600 per annum
  • Classes 6 to 8: ₹720 per annum
  • Classes 9 to 10 (Day scholars): ₹1,500 per annum
  • Classes 9 to 10 (Hostellers): ₹3,500 per annum

3. Pre-Matric Disability Uttarakhand Scholarship

Eligibility

Students with disabilities in Classes 1 to 10 studying at a recognized school within or outside the state, who have passed their last qualifying examination. The annual family income should not exceed ₹24,000.

Award

  • Classes 1 to 5: ₹600 per annum
  • Classes 6 to 8: ₹960 per annum
  • Classes 9 to 10: ₹1,700 per annum

4. Post-Matric Scholarship for OBC Students

Eligibility

Students in class 11 or above who have passed their last qualifying examination. The annual family income should be less than ₹1,00,000.

Award

  • Hostellers: Up to ₹750 per month
  • Day scholars: Up to ₹350 per month

5. Post-Matric Scholarship for SC Students

Eligibility

Students from Class 11 onwards who have passed their last qualifying examination. The annual family income should be less than ₹2,50,000.

Award

  • Hostellers: Up to ₹1,200 per month
  • Day scholars: Up to ₹550 per month

6. Post-Matric Scholarship for ST Students

Eligibility

Students in Class 11 to the postdoctoral level who have passed their last qualifying examination. The annual family income should be less than ₹2,50,000. Candidates already receiving any other scholarship are not eligible.

  • Hostellers: Up to ₹1,200 per month
  • Day scholars: Up to ₹550 per month

7. Post Matric Scholarship for EBC Students

Eligibility

Students from Class 11 to the postdoctoral level at a government-recognized institution. The annual family income should be less than ₹1,00,000. Students pursuing studies through distance learning or correspondence can also apply.

Award

  • Maintenance allowance: Hostellers – Up to ₹750 per month; Day scholars – Up to ₹350 per month (for 10 months)
  • Reader charges for blind students: Up to ₹175 per month
  • Study tour charges: Up to ₹900 per annum
  • Reimbursement of compulsory non-refundable fees
  • Thesis typing and printing charges: Up to ₹1,000 (for research scholars)

8. Pre-Matric Scholarship Scheme for Minority

Eligibility

Students belonging to minority communities (Christian, Muslim, Jain, Parsi, Sikh, Buddhist) from Classes 1 to 10 studying at a recognized institution within the state, who have passed their last qualifying examination. The annual family income should be less than twice the current income slab below the poverty line.

Award

  • Classes 1 to 5: ₹50 per month (for up to 12 months)
  • Classes 6 to 8: ₹80 per month (for up to 12 months)
  • Classes 9 to 10: ₹120 per month (for up to 12 months)

Documents Required

The following documents are necessary to complete the Uttarakhand Scholarship 2023 application:

  • Income certificate of parent/guardian
  • Aadhaar card or Aadhaar enrolment number
  • Bank account proof in the name of the student or a joint account with the parent
  • Passport-size photograph
  • Domicile certificate
  • Caste certificate

Application Process
